Fall Quarter 2010

Welcome to class! My name is Ms. Whitney. You may email me or post a comment any time to ask questions about class. If you will be absent from class, please call me and leave a message about why you will miss class. You may also text me.

During this quarter, we will concentrate on these main goals:

  1. Determine the purpose and audience for writing.
  2. Organize ideas well and learn to write paragraphs that make sense.
  3. Be able to use familiar vocabulary to write paragraphs that explain your ideas and include some details and examples.
  4. Learn to edit and revise your writing.

Mainly, I hope you will have fun and write a lot!
